その後は、おいしい食事と音楽、そしてダンス。
ミシュラン星を獲得したレストランの料理が並び、ゲストたちはゆったりとした時間を楽しみます。
ご家族やご友人に囲まれながら、おふたりの新しい時間が静かに始まりました。
This wedding celebration took place in Brooklyn, New York, with friends and family traveling from Japan, China, and the United States.
Under the clear skies of New York,
a wedding party quietly unfolded.
The first look took place on the rooftop of a boutique hotel in Brooklyn.
Afterward came delicious food, music, and dancing.
Dishes from a Michelin-starred restaurant were served,
as guests enjoyed a relaxed and joyful evening together.
Surrounded by family and friends,
a new chapter of their lives began gently.

秋晴れのブルックリン。
夕方から始まるウェディングパーティの準備が始まりました。
Autumn light over Brooklyn.
Preparations begin for tonight’s wedding celebration.
まずは、お仕度中の花嫁Lさまのお部屋へ。
First, we begin in the bride’s room as she prepares for the day.
幼いころから今日までーその歩みを見守ってこられたお母さまの手がドレスを整えられます。
Her mother, who has watched her grow since childhood, gently helps her into her wedding dress.
ドレスの光沢、
ウェディングヘアのつやめき、
そして、高鳴る鼓動。
そのすべてが整い、祝福のため息が広がります。
The glow of the dress.
The sparkle of her wedding hair.
And the quiet excitement in the air.
Everything comes together, and the room begins to fill with the spirit of celebration.
このあと、いよいよファーストミートです。
Next comes the first look.
別のお部屋でお仕度を進める、花婿Sさま。
まだ、花嫁さまのお姿をご覧になっていません。
これからの時間を想い、期待に胸が膨らみます。

He has not yet seen the bride.
Thinking of the moment to come, anticipation quietly grows.
主役のお二人が身に着ける小さなものたち。
それぞれに、この日までの時間や思いが宿っています。

ルーフトップで感動のファーストミート
ブルックリン、Wythe Hotelの眺めのいいルーフトップ。
マンハッタンのスカイラインを眺めながら、お仕度を済まされた花嫁さまとのファーストミートに、胸が膨らみます。
ちなみに、アメリカでは、「First Look（ファーストルック）」という言い方が一般的。
結婚式の日、初めてお互いの姿を「見る」特別な時間です。
お手紙を読んだり、記念撮影をしたり。
挙式前のひとときを、お二人で過ごされます。

With the Manhattan skyline stretching out before them, anticipation builds for the bride’s first look after finishing her preparations.
In English, this moment is commonly called the “First Look.” (It is called “First Meet” in Japanese)
It is a special time on the wedding day when the couple sees each other for the first time.
They may read letters, or take a few quiet portraits together.
A gentle pause for the two of them before the ceremony begins.
ルーフトップへ続く階段。
一歩、一歩、花婿さまの元へ。
The staircase leading up to the rooftop.
Step by step, he makes his way toward the bride.
学生時代から、ともに歩んできたお二人。
笑った日も、迷った日も、ただ黙って寄り添った時間も。
気がつけば、いつも隣にはお互いがいました。
The two of them have walked this path together since their College days.
Days filled with laughter, days of uncertainty, and quiet moments spent simply by each other’s side.
Before they knew it, they had always been there for one another.
言葉にできない思いを胸に、今、ファーストミート。
With feelings too deep for words, the first look begins.
努力を重ね、想いを尽くし、積み重ねられてきたお二人のストーリー。
A story built through effort, shared dreams, and the many moments they have lived together.
その歩みの先に立つ今日の花嫁さまのお姿は、花婿さまの目に一段とまぶしく映っていたことでしょう。
Standing at the end of that shared journey, the bride must have looked especially radiant in the groom’s eyes today.
セントラルパークで前撮りを記録させていただいたのが、ちょうど一年前。
その日から、あっという間に過ぎていく時間の中で、お二人はこの日のために準備を進めてきました。
It was exactly one year ago that my team member Erika photographed their engagement session in Central Park.
Since that day, time has passed quickly as they prepared for this moment together.
今回、結婚パーティの舞台となったWythe Hotel。
高い天井と大きな窓が印象的なスイートルームからは、イーストリバー越しにマンハッタンの景色が広がります。
伝統を受け継ぐ建物の温もりと、現代的なラグジュアリー。
その空間が、今日という一日をいっそう特別なものにしていました。

From the suite, with its high ceilings and large windows, the Manhattan skyline stretches beyond the East River.
A space where the warmth of historic architecture meets modern luxury.
It made this day feel even more special.
滑らかなシルクのドレスでカクテルアワーへ
パーティ前のひととき、お二人だけの時間を残していきます。
Before the party begins, a fun portrait session just for the two of them.
Wythe Hotelは、ブルックリンのウィリアムズバーグに位置します。
ウィリアムズバーグは、かつての工場街の面影を残しながら、アートや音楽が息づく街。
街角がキャンバスになる、自由な創造性を感じられるエリアです。
The Wythe Hotel is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Williamsburg is a neighborhood where art and music thrive, while traces of its industrial past remain.
An area where every corner feels like a canvas, filled with a spirit of creative freedom.

体のラインに寄り添い、ひと呼吸ごとに表情を変えていきます。

It follows the line of her body, changing its expression with every breath.
張りのあるタキシードは、絶妙な光沢感。
花嫁さまのドレスと並ぶと、互いの質感が響きあっています。
The groom’s tuxedo, with its crisp structure, carries a refined sheen.
Beside the bride’s dress, their textures quietly complement one another.
ディナーの会場は、Wythe Hotel内のプライベートダイニングルーム「The Cellar」。
レストラン「Le Crocodile」のミシュラン星を獲得したお料理が振る舞われる、地下の特別な空間です。
歴史あるレンガの壁やアーチ状の天井が残る、インダストリアルな雰囲気のパーティルーム。
空間にやさしい彩りを添えるように、カラフルな装花やキャンドルが選ばれていました。
Dinner was held in “The Cellar,” the private dining room inside the Wythe Hotel.
An intimate underground space where dishes from the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Crocodile are served.
Historic brick walls and arched ceilings remain, giving the room its industrial character.
Colorful decorations and candlelight were chosen to bring a gentle warmth to the space.
花嫁さまのドレスは、Loulette Brideのもの。
展示会で出会い、ひと目で心を奪われた一着です。
ブルックリンを拠点に、すべてオーダーメイドで仕立てられるドレス。
過剰な生産をせず、リサイクル素材を取り入れるなど、丁寧なものづくりの姿勢が感じられます。
The bride’s dress was by Loulette Bride.
She first encountered it at a trunk show, and it captured her heart at first sight.
Based in Brooklyn, the dresses are made entirely to order.
With thoughtful craftsmanship, avoiding excess production and incorporating recycled materials.
ドレスのオフホワイトの光沢が、レンガの温もりと美しいコントラストを描きます。
The off-white sheen of the dress creates a beautiful contrast against the warmth of the brick.
やがて、ゲストが集まり、カクテルアワーが始まりました。
Soon, guests began to gather, and cocktail hour began.
カクテルアワーは、日本の披露宴ではなじみが薄いかもしれません。
ディナー前、シャンパンやカクテルを手にご友人同士で言葉を交わす時間。
アメリカのウェディングでは欠かせないひと幕です。
この日は時間にもゆとりがあり、お二人もその輪の中へ。
ご友人との会話を楽しまれていました。
Cocktail hour may be less familiar in Japanese wedding receptions.
Before dinner, guests gather with champagne and cocktails in hand, sharing conversations with friends.
It is an essential part of weddings in the United States.
On this day, time moved gently, and the couple joined the circle of friends, enjoying warm conversations together.
祝福の声が響くディナータイム
カクテルアワーがお開きとなり、いよいよディナータイム。
扉の向こうに、拍手と歓声が広がります。
Cocktail hour comes to a close, and it is time for dinner.
From beyond the doors, applause and cheers begin to rise.
花婿さまから、ゲストの皆様へのご挨拶。

会場選びの決め手のひとつになったのが、このレストランのお料理。
フランスの食文化を、気取らないスタイルで楽しめるブラッスリー。
「ぜひゲストに味わってほしい」と思える、確かな美味しさです。
The cuisine was one of the reasons they chose this venue—food they truly wanted their guests to enjoy.
A brasserie where French culinary traditions can be enjoyed in a relaxed and welcoming style.
花婿さまのお母さまから、お二人へ。
ご家族の今までの歩みと、これから、隣に花嫁さまがいる心強さを伝えていただきました。
A few heartfelt words from the groom’s mother.
She spoke about their family’s journey so far, and how comforting it will be to have the bride by their side in the years ahead.
お二人の幸せを願う想いが言葉になり、会場は祝福で包まれました。
Her words, filled with wishes for the couple’s happiness, wrapped the room in warmth and celebration.
さらに、お互いへ贈るメッセージが、会場へ伝わります。
They also shared heartfelt messages with each other, filling the room with emotion.
遠距離で過ごした日々。
なかなか会えず、寂しさを抱えていた時間もありました。
それでも今、こうして隣にいられることの喜びが、まっすぐな言葉で綴られます。
誰かを思い続けることの尊さに、あらためて心が揺さぶられる瞬間でした。
There were days they spent apart, living far from each other.
Times when they couldn’t see one another, carrying the quiet loneliness that came with it.
Even so, the joy of finally being together now was expressed in simple, honest words.
It was a moment that reminded everyone how powerful it is to keep someone close in your heart.

甘い香りに包まれながら、いよいよケーキ入刀の時間。
Soon, it was time for the cake cutting.
ファーストバイトの瞬間に、会場から歓びの声が届きます。
ケーキは、純白に白いお花を。
ウェディングだからこそできるデザインにしようと、幸せをかたどったデザインです。
They shared their first bite, cheers and laughter rose from the room.
The cake was pure white, adorned with delicate white flowers.
A design that feels perfect for a wedding.
レッスンに通ったファーストダンスを披露
ディナータイムがお開きとなり、外ではマンハッタンの夜景が輝き始めました。
After dinner, just look at that view—the Manhattan skyline glowing at night. Simply gorgeous.
お待ちかねのダンスパーティがスタートです。
And then, the long-awaited dance party begins.
お二人が、ファーストダンスを披露。
The couple shares their first dance.
この日のために、二か月間ダンススタジオに通って、レッスンを受けたお二人。
They spent two months taking dance lessons at a studio to prepare for this moment.
その成果が出て、会場は大盛り上がりです。
And it paid off! The room was full of cheers.
ファーストダンスをコーチした先生も会場にいらして、その瞬間を一緒に見守っていました。
先生と相談しながら、考えたダンスの振り付け。
曲も、お二人で丁寧に選ばれたものです。
ひとつひとつ話し合い、楽しみながら迎えた今日という日。
その時間の積み重ねが伝わる、あたたかなパーティでした。
Their first dance instructor was there too, watching the moment with them.
They worked with her to come up with the choreography, and even chose the song together.
Everything about the day reflected the many conversations and little decisions they had made along the way.
It was the kind of celebration where you could truly feel the story they had built together.
実は、ダンスの先生を会場に呼んだのは、直前のひらめきだったそうです。
日本人ゲストが多くいらっしゃり、ダンスに戸惑う方がいたら、先生と一緒に楽しんでもらいたい—そんなお二人の思いがありました。
先生方がゲストを優しく誘い、フロアは笑顔であふれていました。
Actually, inviting their dance instructors to the party was a last-minute idea.
Since many of the guests were visiting from Japan and might feel a little shy about dancing, the couple hoped everyone could enjoy it together with their instructors.
With the dance instructors warmly inviting guests onto the floor, the room quickly filled with smiles.
バンドの生演奏が、パ－ティを盛り上げています。
The live band set such a great vibe for the night.
夜も深まり、会場の雰囲気もぐっとムーディに。
As the night went on, the energy in the room kept building.
昼と夜のブルックリン、街の表情を追いながら、お二人もゲストも一日中その魅力を堪能していました。
日本の披露宴とは少し趣が異なりますが、ニューヨークの結婚パーティには、自由な空気の中でそれぞれが思い思いの時間を過ごせる心地よさがあり、私はそれがとても素敵だと感じています。

From daytime to nightfall in Brooklyn, following the changing moods of the city, the couple and their guests enjoyed its charm throughout the day.
Wedding parties in New York may feel a little different from traditional Japanese receptions, but there’s something wonderful about the relaxed atmosphere—everyone can spend the time in their own way. I find that freedom especially lovely.
